I'm having a weird problem that I don't know how to diagnose. I
can't run any gnome or KDE applications (I first noticed this when I
tried to run kolf and so far, the same thing occurs for g3data,
gnobots2, ksirtet etc.). What happens is that when I run the
command, it just sits there, no display, no error messages. The
process is running (I can see this via the activity monitor) but I
don't see anything on my screen. This doesn't happen for non-gnome/
KDE apps like root or xfig - they run fine.
I recently upgraded to 10.4.4 (from 10.4.3) but I'm not sure if that
was the start of this.
Any help pointing me in the right direction will be appreciated.
Since it's not throwing any errors, I'm not even sure where to begin.
