do you see libiconv.dylib, libiconv.2.dylib and libiconv.2.3.0.dylib,
the former two being symlinks to the latter?

libiconv.2.dylib existed but wasn't pointing anywhere useful. I'd
checked before that it existed, but didn't look where it was pointing.
