Are you by any chance using distcc or cooking MAKEFLAGS in some way to
do -j builds? We've seen strangeness when distributing compiles of
dpkg; other than that, I'm not sure how you could get this...
Nope.. just basic stuff. I am scrapping around at this point .... I
just wiped out /sw again to start over. I did not do that after
re-installing Xcode just a while ago.
Luckily .. no packages other than what come with the fink were installed
up until this point.
I might try a selfupdate again at some point next week.
Well ..... I just wiped out and reinstalled Fink via the 0.8.0
installer dmg.
For comparison -- on my powerbook I installed the same fink and ran
selfupdate-cvs ( Xcode 2.0 and Apple X11 installed ) and everything went
through AOK.
On the server I immediately ran "fink selfupdate-cvs" which fails with
the same errors as before. So that tells me that it is most likely an
Xcode 2.2 issue.
