Hi all,
I'm about updating Xcode tools on my iMac since I'm still with 2.1.
I've read that the upgrade to Xcode 2.2 is encouraged, but nothing is
specified about the last version 2.2.1. Is it Fink compatible or not?
Can I go with it or it is safer to stop at 2.2

Thanks,
  Andrea

The only package that I know of that had problems with 2.2.1 was openoffice.org.

And even that might have been a bad recollection on my part.

Well, it says on the fink website that openoffice has problems with xcode 2.2, but there is no specific mention of xcode 2.2.1, only that it ought to be fixed in the 10.4 tree... I've been avoiding update-all to avoid building OOo for this reason, so it would be good to have a definitive answer (OOo is too big to want to start a build when you know it won't work...)

Right now, though, I can report that fink scanpackages is having problems with it:

!! Package openoffice.org-sv has `Section: crypto', but file is in `x11' !!

and repeated for all 45 of the language variants...
