It won't work. USB is handled completely differently on Darwin than on Linux. Your options are as follows: 1) Install the TCP-USB bridge: http://osx-palm-tools.sourceforge.net/ and use that, or 2) Install a development version of pilot-link which has the Darwin USB hooks built in and rebuild jpilot to link to it: http://www.pilot-link.org/ The upstream pilot-link developers have asked that this prerelease not be distributed in binary format (e.g. in Linux distros) but I'm not sure whether a source-distribution-only Fink package would be acceptable. -- Alexander K.
