I was reading a tutorial on a website that made a reference to downloading the Courier mail server packages via the following command: "apt-get install courier-authdaemon courier-authmysql courier-pop courier-pop-ssl courier-imap courier-imap-ssl" When I execute the command, however, I receive the error: E: Couldn't find package courier-authdaemon When I search the Fink website for packages containing the word "Courier", there are indeed none listed. The tutorial that referenced the command shown above was written in Oct. 2005, so assuming it was correct, it appears that the Courier packages were included in Fink in the past, but are not any longer. Does anyone know if this assumption is correct, or am I just overlooking or misinterpreting something simple?
You are more than likely reading a Debian tutorial or something like this, are not you?
Then it is no wonder that you don't find any Courier package on Fink, which, as rumor says, is not Debian.
More seriously, if you explain what you try to achieve, maybe somebody on the list can give you some advice.
