Deleting the boost1.32-py24* files seems to have done the trick.
Everything seems to be compiling now.

For me it shows up trying to upgrade akgregator and it depending on
boost1.32-py24. I could remove boost1.32-py23 and then I suppose

akgregator but it seems to me that I would then be opening myself up

problems with boost1.32-py23 and whatever installed it.
Rather than move the problem around I thought I would ask here to
see
if anyone has some suggestions or can tell me if the file
/sw/include/boost-1_32/boost/algorithm/minmax.hpp would work for
both
of the boost* packages. I could just remove it and then let the new
boost* package replace it.

I believe boost1.32-py24 only exists for build purposes and nothing
should have a runtime dependency on it (the -shlibs package is
another matter).
The only difference in the two packages should be which version of
python they use. Go ahead and replace the -py23 version with the
-py24 one.

I removed boost1.32-py23 and tried to install akgregator again. It
failed with basically the same error but on a different file ie.
trying to overwrite `/sw/lib/libboost_date_time-1_32.dylib', which is
also in package boost1.32-py23-shlibs The complete error is below.
I seem to be chasing the same issue with the -shlibs. I would like to
get around removing those in case there is a runtime dependency on
them.
Anyone have ideas on how to find out or which way to go from here?

I think you can replace the -shlibs too.
