Hi all,

I'm looking for some help to install new stuff for kde.

I have downloaded and installed kde with fink on my ibook g4 ppc and
it's working well, but when I try to install packages manualy as kdm
theme manager 1.1, I get this error message:

configure: WARNING: libjpeg not found. disable JPEG support.
checking for perl... /usr/bin/perl
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.0) (library qt-mt)
not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.
Make sure that you have compiled Qt with thread support!

Both qt and libjpeg are installed but the configure process don't see
it.

As advised before, I tryed to define the path to qt with the
following commands

./configure --with-qt-dir=/sw/lib/qt3

./configure --with-qt-dir=/sw

./configure --with-qt3-libraries=/sw/lib --with-qt3-includes=/sw/
include/qt

./configure qt3_libs="-L/sw/lib -lqt-mt"

but it didn't help, I have the same error message. ./configure --
help will not

really help me either as I'm not very experienced with all those
commands.

Can someone help me to define the correct path and the correct
command to install packages?

Thank you for any help.
