Hello, There is a problem with zsh 4.3.2-1 after fink update from 10.4- transitional to 10.4 (0.8.1). It does not accept any more the accentuated characters with ISO Latin (1 or other), but only UTF-8. It is however the same version of zsh as before the update of fink. I specify that my window of terminal is always regulated same manner. The problem does not come from there. And I could see on forums that it finds on G5 and MacIntel.
