As an alternative, consider Gerben Wierda's i-installer for tetex and related software. I believe the TeX package includes xdvi. I know I have a working xdvi without having fink-installed one. The i- installer is very convenient, and the TeX stuff is kept very up-to-date. ftp://ftp.nluug.nl/pub/comp/macosx/volumes/ii2/II2.dmg I also like TeXShop for editing and previewing (so I actually don't use xdvi very much): http://www.uoregon.edu/~koch/texshop/texshop.html David Wagner Using Tomcat but need to do more?
