Hi all!
I've been playing around with getting emacs through fink. I'm pretty knew with
emacs so bare with me if this a completely trivial thing. I installed
emacs22-carbon and then I installed a few other -el packages like yactex,
python-mode, nxml-mode, remember-el, planner-el, and muse-el. My problem is that
at least remember-el and planner-el won't load because apparently emacs can't
find them. I put the lines recommended in the package descriptions in ~/.emacs
but when I start emacs it says it can't find them. When I try to manually use
the modes in emacs (M-x plan for example) there is nothing. Anyway, any help
would be appreciated. I could alway grab the .el files myself but I thought
since fink packages existed I'd try it the "easy" way.

P.S. I tried various things like installing other of the emacsen in fink and
reinstalling the -el packages after or before emacs. Nothing seems to work.
