I have a new install on OS X 10.4 of Fink, and tried to install
Etherape. I am getting stuck at a point where the error:
********

appears. This is only the third program I've installed under Fink,
the first packages being Ethereal and ClamAV. Any suggestions what
would be causing this error? I've done the selfupdate twice. Fink
Commander states 5100 packages displayed, 162 installed. This is on
an Intel Macbook.

Fink -V gives
Package manager version: 0.24.25
Distribution version: 0.8.1.rsync i386

Any ideas, pointers, etc.?

Thanks,
