Actually, if you've only added stuff to ~/Library/texmf, then the "sudo" is
unnecessary; you own the directory, after all. The bonus is that it's a lot
faster --- you don't (normally) have privilege to write to the system texmf
trees, so it just skips them. This is really great if you're developing a
package or similar.
