Not automatically. However if you append a unifed (-ruN) diff to the
svn.patch file of what you did to the Makefile vs. its original state,
this will do the same thing.
But how do I make a change to the svn.patch file stick? Won't it just download or untar it again on the next install?
By the way, what version of subversion are you building? There are
two source distro versions for 10.3:
the stable one - 1.1.4-11. I suppose I could try the unstable one ...
