I did something wrong or at least not very well. In trying to reinstall X11
after removing xorg (on my Emac), I did an archive/install from my MacOS DVD.
This worked for the most part except that my mail and news readers, which were
using gnupg, no longer work (Thunderbird and SeaMonkey). They startup but hang
without fetching mail. I tried reinstalling gnupg, but this didn't help. This
"technique" also downgraded my system to 10.4 whereupon I software updated back
to 10.4.8. I don't seem to be getting any closer to getting my mail readers
working again. Does anyone have any suggestions? (Besides "don't do that" :-) )
Thanks,
Robert
