Did you install KDE from the stable or unstable fork? If you used
unstable and it required a different version of the cctools, that
would account for the problem. Or, conversely, if the version of
enlightenment is from unstable and the KDE is stable, that might happen.
Bottom line: make sure that you're using the same fork for both.
