Hi again,

So I'm still having no luck with the source installation of Fink on
my server. Here's a few other bits of information:

1) The server is a G5, but it's got a Universal version of OS X
Server 10.4.8 installed on it.

2) libstdc++.6.0.4.dylib only contains eprintf on the ppc side:
deltag5:~ kocolosk$ nm -arch ppc /usr/lib/libstdc++.6.0.4.dylib |
grep eprintf
90b53648 T ___eprintf
90b786dc S ___eprintf.eh
deltag5:~ kocolosk$ nm -arch i386 /usr/lib/libstdc++.6.0.4.dylib |
grep eprintf
deltag5:~ kocolosk$

3) There was an old post on the wiki about the use of -force-flat-
namespace (without which my errors would just be warnings), and I
believe the last time I installed Fink from source on the server in
question was before the date of the post:
http://wiki.finkproject.org/index.php/Fink:Packaging:breakage/
2006-03-09/ppc#-force_flat_namespace

Anybody know who "RR" is and how I can get in touch with him/her?
I'm really getting stumped here. I can't reproduce this behavior on
any other machine, but then again I only have access to one copy of
OS X Server.  Thanks,

Adam
