Hi, I'm trying FUSE+sshfs from Fink. They seems to work quite well except for the sshfs/ssh processes hanging around after any volume has been unmounted (either by clicking the eject icon in the Finder or typing in umount <mnt_point> at the Terminal).
As already stated by Roland Kuhn in a previous thread, the problem is that the standard umount command seems unaware of the sshfs/ssh running. However looking at the fuse distribution, I've noticed utils/fusermount.c source that seems an utility to mount AND unmount FUSE volumes. Unfortunately Fink doesn't build that file leaving the Fink's FUSE package without that utility. I'm not sure whether that utility could be the solution to this issue or not, however I hope the maintainer could give it a look.
