The fact that anything is working at all is somewhat amazing. I suspect you will have no end of trouble when next you try to update. Standard advice in your situation is to remove fink entirely [ http:// www.finkproject.org/faq/usage-fink.php?phpLang=en#removing ] and start from scratch with the Intel version of the fink installer. I believe you could optionally save the contents of /sw/src, but even the *.deb files you have will be specific to PowerPC.
