Hello,

While compiling bundle-kde(-ssl), my Fink got stuck while building
"gst-plugins"; I did a fink selfupdate and upgrade-all, and then
restarted the build, but the problem remains.

This is the error:

Below is some extra information, that I gathered in order to locate
the missing library (or to know why it isn't there...).

$ ls -l /sw/lib/libpangoxft*
-rwxr-xr-x   1 root  admin  32936 May 10 17:19 /sw/lib/
libpangoxft-1.0.0.1001.0.dylib

libpangoxft-1.0.0.dylib -> libpangoxft-1.0.0.1001.0.dylib

$ dpkg -S "/sw/lib/libpangoxft*"
pango1-xft2-shlibs: /sw/lib/libpangoxft-1.0.0.dylib
pango1-xft2-shlibs: /sw/lib/libpangoxft-1.0.0.1001.0.dylib

$ dpkg -l "pango*"

I then proceeded with replacing pango1-xft2-ft219-dev by pango1-xft2-
dev. This does provide the required file (pango1-xft2-dev: /sw/lib/
libpangoxft-1.0.la), but when I want to build gst-plugins, the ft-
variant is again installed (and the other one removed), so I run into
the same problem.

Has anybody encountered this problem? Should I raise a bug against
gst-plugins or against pango1-xft2-ft219?

Best regards,
Bruno De Fraine
