I ran 'fink install autoconf' to address the original failure (previous email)
and I seem
to have gotten past it - maybe. Then tried to re-install Gnucash2.
I got pretty far again but, ran into yet another failure as follows:

New package:
dists/unstable/main/binary-darwin-i386/x11/qt3_3.3.8-1021_darwin-i386.deb
Downloading the indexes of available packages in the binary distribution.

Failed: phase installing: gnome-icon-theme-2.16.0.1-1 failed

I ran another 'fink selfupdate' when I got the failure
and it indicated there was nothing new to install.

Another question....this is my 5th or 6th failure - all different. Is there
any way
to save what I have successfully downloaded and start from that point after the
failures have been addressed? I'm getting the failures after 45+ min of
downloading,
so to start over is frustrating to say the least.

What's the error leading to this? There could be, for example, a line

/sw/bin/dpkg: error ... :

and then the explanation of what is wrong.
