Hi,

as you may have already know, the teTeX distribution is no longer maintained since May 2006, so TeX Live seems the way to go. I know that there has been some discussion about TeX distributions in Fink, but I don't know if anyone is doing any TeX Live packages or any other.

I have manually installed MacTeX, and wanted to install the doxygen package that depends on teTeX, so I decided to create a system- texlive package. It is simply a copy of system-tetex, but at least solves package dependencies. I also had to update the doxygen.info file to BuildDepen on system-texlive, and the version of system- ghostscript8 to 8.57. But everything seems to work fine, by now.

I don't know much about TeX, so I am very far away about creating proper TeX Live packages, but for now, having a system-texlive seems pretty feasible.

I am attaching the system-texlive.info (I have kept the Maintainer of system-tetex as I haven't done much).

Any issues, ideas...?

Best regards,

Aleix
