Something doesn't work as expected:
scm-leop:~ scm$ locate xclipboard
/usr/X11/bin/xclipboard
scm-leop:~ scm$ defaults write org.x.X11_launcher app_to_run
/usr/X11/bin/xclipboard
then checked it out:
scm-leop:~ scm$ defaults read |grep xclip
xclipboard,
xclipboard,
"app_to_run" = "/usr/X11/bin/xclipboard";
but when launching any X11-based application (e.g. pan) there is no
"trace" of xclipboard ... thus the copy-paste not available
I could run xclipboard on its own, which launches X11, then launch
other applications from the terminal, but what a pain ... xinitrc was
the place I used to have all these in :(
Thanks for all good advises - I need to keep an eye on all those X
updates, definitely ...
Stefan
