OS 10.4.11, intel iMac, latest fink, unstable tree, all installed
apps up-to-date
Gnome2

Problem: all Gnome desktop icons have reverted to generic icons
(document icon with a red "x" in the middle).

Application icons display correctly (e.g., Gnumeric application icons
are all displayed as they were prior to the reversion).

This may be related to a "fink remove wine" (or perhaps "fink purge
wine" ?) done a couple of weeks ago. I can't say for sure that the
events coincided, but that is the only fink-related change which I
instigated. Everything else was updates of existing files.

The OS10.4 11 update also took place during this time, if I recall
correctly.

Regardless, I'd be grateful for some guidance as to what should be
rebuilt or if there is a gconf-editor setting which I should check.

Thanks,

Stan
