Hello all,

I sent a note to the developer, but am sort of in a rush, so I am
posting to the general community as well.

If someone could suggest a quick temporary fix I would be most grateful :)

I am having some difficulty getting libgdiplus built (which actually
seems to boil down to a gtk-sharp2 question).

Some specifics:

fink : Package manager version: 0.27.9
Distribution version: 0.8.1.cvs powerpc

running under 10.4.11 on a dual G5.

When building libgdiplus it runs into a buildlock error for
gtk-sharp2. I tried installing just gtk-sharp2 on its own and found
that there was a dependency on pango1-xft2-dev, which was not
installed. So, I installed pango1-xft2-dev on its own, and that goes
fine. The issue is that once I try to install gtk-sharp2 again, it
removes pango1-xft2-dev and replaces it with pango1-xft2-ft219-dev.

So, what seems to be happening is that fink thinks gtk-sharp2 depends
on pango1-xft2-dev, but when gtk-sharp2 starts to build it removes
that and installs pango1-xft2-ft219-dev. Seems like a simple config
file somewhere needs to be fixed, but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

If anyone would like the actual error messages just let me know and I
will send them along.

Thanks much in advance!
