I'd like to do something like

debmirror --progress --host=fr.ubuntu.org --method=http --dist=gutsy 
--section=main --arch=i386 --root=/ --passive --nosource --nocleanup -v 
--skippackages ubuntu

and then point all macs (well, two for the moment, later perhaps three) 
at this repository...
