Hi Folks, I'm running (I think) the most up-to-date Fink with Apple's XDarwin 1.4a1 (XFree 4.4) on Tiger, which I use as my X server. We have a new 64bit intel box running Linux (FedoraCore6) which I do most of my work on. Wierdly, any remote opengl clients on this x86_64 box won't display on the XDarwin server: I get stuff like % glxgears glxgears: xcb_io.c:452: _XRead: Assertion `dpy->xcb->reply_data != 0' failed. Abort Other 32 bit linux machines running as clients work fine. Does anybody have a clue what might be responsible? Is this somehow related to bugfixes which might appear in XFree 4.5 Xquartz, which isn't yet (to my knowledge) available to Fink users on Tiger? Many thanks, James Gunning. |
