That's a fundamental misunderstanding of how fink packages and mirrors work. A package is a hand-written description of a specific version of a certain program (source URL, compiler commands, etc). A "mirror" is just an alternate place to find that same source. Fink does not have *generic* build instructions ("package foo, whatever version happens to exist on the mirror").
