Hello
I'm running OX 10.5.2
I'm using fink Package manager version: 0.28.0 / Distribution version:
selfupdate-cvs Sun Feb 24 12:15:15 2008, 10.5, i386
I installed the zope release (unstable) 2.6.3-1104 (using fink commander) from
source (several warnings but no error during compiling)

but starting zope failed :

macbook-pro-15-de-pascal-staccini:~ pascal$ sudo /sw/sbin/zopectl start
Starting Zope...Traceback (most recent call last):
 File "/sw/sbin/zope-z2", line 541, in ?

 File "/sw/lib/zope/ZServer/__init__.py", line 27, in ?
   from medusa import asyncore
 File "/sw/lib/zope/ZServer/medusa/asyncore.py", line 55, in ?
from errno import EALREADY, EINPROGRESS, EWOULDBLOCK, ECONNRESET, \
ImportError: cannot import name ESHUTDOWN
................................................................................
.................... failed.

When installing zope, python 2.4 was automatically installed too...

Trying to resolve this error message when starting zope installed from fink
with
python 2.4.3, I read the message posted at :
http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.os.apple.fink.tracker/15335
It seems that the correct release to use is 2.4.4 and not the 2.4.3 one which
is
the release currently delivered with zope..

the question is : will it be possible to adjust the dependencies of zope and
add
the 2.4.3 release of python..in the fink distribution...

thanks for your help and comments
pascal
