I guess I don't know where to put the LDFLAGS options. I've tried in the
gar.conf.mk file but that didn't work.
I can't use the fink package because i'm trying to install gnome2 using
garnome, which means downloading the garnonme package and cd'ing into the
desktop directory and doing a "make paranoid-install".
