OK. I have installed AucTeX V. 11.85 manualy, because I will not install a new TeX distribution. I removed the fink installation of auctex and system-tetex, but the problem persists with update-all:
Failed: phase compiling: auctex-11.85-3 failed Then I remove preview-latex, and now, all is in order. Thank's for your help.
