Got this to work.

Per Apple's documentation, /Developer is the default for 2.5 DevTools 
install.

I renamed the rogue 
/System/Library/Frameworks/InterfaceBuilder.frameworks to a temp 
directory and pyobjc compiled without a hitch. Evidently, the compiler 
was then forced to look at /Developer.
