I have had a consistent bug in qt for several years. I used to think it was in Konsole, but now I've discovered it affects all qt applications, and persists in the latest XQuartz. The bug is the following: I can't copy directly from Aqua into a qt window. If I a copy something in Aqua and then switch to X11, I can middle click the selection into anything (non-qt) that supports it (xterm, etc.), I can paste the clipboard into anything (non-qt) that supports that, but attempting either of this in a qt app will result in a noop. If I paste into another window, select it, and then paste into the qt app, everything works. (Don't even get my started on what happens when I start Klipper with "synchronize clipboard and selection" selected.)
Anybody else seen this? Are there work arounds. IS this a bug in qt or in XQuartz?
