As a short-term solution, yes, you either have to downgrade to the X11SDK.pkg from xcode-3.0 (no need to install the whole xcode-3.0) or upgrade your X11 via xquartz.macosforge. I don't know what the best procedure would be for Fink. I just sent a complaint to the xquartz-dev mailing list and filed a bug with Apple. Until they react, we could perhaps (unofficially...) make the xcode-3.0 X11SDK.pkg available. If you don't have a copy, I have one that I could give you for testing and to see if this downgrade solves the problems we have been seeing. It is small, only 1MB. -- Martin ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Fink-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-users
