The package plplot-58-1010 fails to install during a source build. The
error is below. The target machine is OS X 10.5.4 on Intel. Does
anyone have an idea how I might work around this?

Note that this is preferable to emailing the maintainer directly, since
most fink package maintainers do not have access to all possible
