fink-related... i stumbled on something interesting the other day as i was trying to figure why some (non-fink) package wouldn't install. (i'm on 10.4.11 intel, latest everything.)
according to the last modified time, the file /usr/local/lib was changed while i was updating to xcode 2.5. weirdly, /usr/local/lib became a symbolic link to itself! did anyone else have this issue? (i couldn't see it discussed on fink- users.) i changed the link it to point to /usr/lib and now my problematic packages install. i guess my question is, was this the right thing to do? or was there a real /usr/local/lib directory that i am now missing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Fink-users mailing list Fink-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-users
