I find that hard to believe, as there's no prohibition against using the preprocessor to redefine predefined symbols. Maybe there was a fight between two header files redefining the same symbol. While I dust off my PowerPC fink machine, is there a chance I could get a complete log, or at least a log back to the gcc line triggering the error? A single line does not tell me enough about the failure.
