First off, let me apologize for the non-fink post. I first noticed
this problem when I attempted to install and use fink's openssh. When
I couldn't log in, I used a fink remove for the openssh, but I am
still unable to log in. In posting, I am attempting to draw on the
collective wisdom of the fink community as I am really stuck.
I am having a problem ssh-ing into my new(ish) macbook pro with
ssh. I have configured the /etc/sshd_config to only accept publickey
files and am completely unable to login. The debug on the user side
was basically worthless, but I recently ran my own copy of leopards
sshd with debug on and a different port. The key line behind the
error seems to "userauth_pubkey: disabled because of invalid user".
Does anyone have any idea how this can come about -- a google of the
line was basically dry.
