Right, I hate this too _ but some of some of our lisp compilers
do the same thing..
Are there no competing attempts whatsoever to create
an open-source version of this thing, from which one could at least
bootstrap to the GNU thing ?
Ada must somewhere and sometime have been bootstrapped from something
else!

It is really a shame the FSF got sucked into this !

Nevertheless, having Ada as some variant of gcc44 would be nice !
