I've been letting this sit a bit, and I probably shouldn't have. It's not just the patch checksum that's the issue. The patch with the mismatched checksum was checked in by accident. However, monotone-viz was broken with newer versions of monotone at the time I made that oops. There's a newer upstream version of monotone-viz than the last successfully built fink version, however it has been problematic. I've been able to get it to build, but it dies with an exception immediately when run. I've been unable to debug the problem. Having an overflowing plate at $school, $job, and $other_job doesn't help much in this regard. I've exchanged a few emails with the upstream author. It was with his help that I was able to compile it at all. I gave him information about the exception problem I'm having, he suggested something that should have gotten more verbose debugging (but didn't, oddly), and I've not heard back after that. What do people want me to do with monotone-viz? Remove it until I can get a version to build and run correctly? Leave it as is until I can fix it? Restore the older version that built and ran correctly but won't work with newer monotone? Some other thing? ~crh
