Using texlive-base, I was trying to build texmacs, and I got the
following error:

pdmap: scanning for LW35 support files
updmap: using map file `/sw/share/texmf-dist/fonts/map/dvips/tetex/
dvips35.map'
updmap: using map file `/sw/share/texmf-dist/fonts/map/dvips/tetex/

updmap: using map file `/sw/share/texmf-dist/fonts/map/dvips/tetex/
dvipdfm35.map'
updmap: using map file `/sw/share/texmf-dist/fonts/map/dvips/tetex/
ps2pk35.map'

updmap: Scanning for MixedMap entries:

!!! ERROR! The map file `bsr-interpolated.map' has not been found at
all.

Either put this file into the right place or remove the
reference from the configuration file. An automatic way
to disable unavailable map files is to call
       updmap --syncwithtrees

     For manual editing, call
       updmap --edit

/sw/bin/dpkg: error processing texlive-base (--install):

### execution of /sw/bin/dpkg-lockwait failed, exit code 1
Failed: can't install package texlive-base-0.20080816-1

My kit is:
iMac G5
OSX 10.5.8
Package manager version: 0.29.10
Distribution version: selfupdate-rsync Mon Oct 12 11:02:31 2009, 10.5,
powerpc
powerpc-apple-darwin9-gcc-4.0.1 (GCC) 4.0.1 (Apple Inc. build 5493)
Xcode 3.1.3
X11-2.4.0

I see that the tex files and programs are going to the texlive
distribution, and something that required texlive wanted to install
it. I installed it and the build script removed some 40 packages
including the tetex packages, and I am trying to reinstall those
programs that will run with the texlive distribution, texmacs being
the first. At the moment I have texlive-texmf installed. If I need to
install something before texlive-base, please let me know. Thanks for
any help.
