Hi, On a Macbook Pro, OSX 10.6.2 Package manager version: 0.29.9 Distribution version: selfupdate-cvs Tue Dec 15 22:47:11 2009, 10.6, x86_64 the ghostscript version GPL Ghostscript 8.61 (2007-11-21) Copyright (C) 2007 Artifex Software, Inc. All rights reserved. was installed with tetex from the binary /sw/bin/dpkg-lockwait -i /sw/fink/dists/stable/main/binary-darwin-x86_64/text/ghostscript_8.61-5_darwin-x86_64.deb but gs is missing all x11 devices. I redid the installation after removing ghostscript including tetex , but ended up with the same problem.
On my iMac, same system configuration, fink version, ghostscript version and tetex, the ghostscript default device is x11alpha and all works as expected. The only difference, tetex was built from source. I have not found an obvious difference between the two fink installations of the Mac's causing the omission of the x11 on the laptop. Any suggestions are very appreciated.
