The problem is as follows: $ fink desc numpy-py26 Information about 9779 packages read in 0 seconds. The requested package 'numpy-py26' is a virtual package, provided by: scipy-core-py26-1.3.0-3 The Debian tools don't handle versioned Provides, so the dependency needs to be modified to use scipy-core-py if a specific version is required (maintainer cced). (that and even if it did work it's not good to depend on a version newer than available in the distro) - -- Alexander Hansen Fink User Liaison -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (Darwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAktE8o8ACgkQB8UpO3rKjQ8loACfTPfK1AVh/Nin8PUIdVjCgS6S 53wAnjfM1JY6jFFw4vSRhFq8XJ/VeS2i =JYDP -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Fink-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-users
