Thanks, that helped!

I upgraded from Leopard to Snow Leopard but did not reinstall fink
after that.  It worked fine until I tried to upgrade some packages.

Once I installed fink from scratch, tetex got upgraded to 3.0-1006 and
the problem disappeared. The only problem is that installing new
packages takes ages because everything needs to be compiled. I miss
binary packages.
