Removing build-lock package... /sw/bin/dpkg-lockwait -r fink-buildlock-calc-2.11.5.8-1016 (Reading database ... 35504 files and directories currently installed.) Removing fink-buildlock-calc-2.11.5.8-1016 ... Failed: phase compiling: calc-2.11.5.8-1016 failed ...not sure exactly why this is a problem. Installing the latest unstable version of calc, 2.12.4.0 (the fink version is 2.11.5.8), works like a charm. Compiles with no errors. 2.12.3.3 (latest unstable) is similarly trivial--no configure step necessary, just an edit of the makefile to specify --prefix=/sw. So it is likely that a straight-up upgrade of the package will fix this. --Adam ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Download Intel® Parallel Studio Eval Try the new software tools for yourself.
