I get the following error when I try to run clamscan from the terminal after I installed clamav7-shlibs,dev,clamav - all v.0.96-11:
[iMac-G5:~]:-bash:523$: /sw/bin/clamscan -l ~/Library/Logs/ clamscan.log -r ~/Assertion failed: (ResultPtr >= -(1 << 23) && ResultPtr < (1 << 23) && "Relocation out of range!"), function relocate, file llvm/lib/Target/PowerPC/PPCJITInfo.cpp, line 399.Abort trap I had no problems running v0.95.3-22. I am running this on an imac G5 with 10.5.8. Here is my kit: Package manager version: 0.29.10 Distribution version: selfupdate-rsync Wed Apr 14 10:07:07 2010, 10.5, powerpc OSX 10.5.8 powerpc-apple-darwin9-gcc-4.0.1 (GCC) 4.0.1 (Apple Inc. build 5493) xcode 3.14 X11 2.5.0 This appears to be strickly a PowerPC problem for v.0.96-11, because this version runs fine on my intel mac under 10.6.2. I would like to get this fixed, but I can run under v.0.95.3-22 if necessary, so it isn't urgent from my standpoint. Thanks for any help.
