Unless Apple's grep changed options between 10.5 and 10.6, no. It worked fine here. > Cheers, > Robert > You are indeed using the 10.5 distribution on 10.6, and that's not going to work. And because your fink package manager version from 2007, you're not going to be able to update that in place--it's too old to understand 10.6. (Unfortunately, the Leopard binary installer had a bit of breakage, so updates could get stuck) What you can do is capture your list of currently installed packages, remove your Fink tree, and install Fink for 10.6 from scratch. Check out http://finkers.wordpress.com/2009/08/31/starting-anew/ for information on how to accomplish this. - -- Alexander Hansen Fink User Liaison -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (Darwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAkvIkCEACgkQB8UpO3rKjQ+/4wCZATnTyUktSKyN4U2rJ8oKujHr 01cAoKXxBzUaQSu4o/jBnAlFrcTvbPiG =UMQs -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Download Intel® Parallel Studio Eval Try the new software tools for yourself.
