We'll need more information. 1) What is your OS version? 2) What Fink architecture are you using? 'fink list -V | head -n2' will answer those questions. And, most importantly, missing file errors during the install phase are typically symptoms of a prior error in the build, resulting in something not being generated. You are going to need to look through the build output to see if there are any instances of "Error" or "error", or anything else that looks suspicious.
