Hello all, I'm trying to run bitchx on an x86_64 fink build, and it crashes. Specifically,
fink --version Package manager version: 0.29.13 Distribution version: selfupdate-rsync Thu Jul 22 20:46:15 2010, 10.6, x86_64 The result of running the command is: bitchx BitchX - Based on EPIC Software Labs epic ircII (1998). Version (BitchX-1.0c19) -- Date (20020325). Process [86486] Segmentation fault I suspect that the problem is rooted from the many warnings of the following type that pop up in the compilation process: gcc -bundle -undefined error qmail.o ../dllinit.o -o qmail.dylib gcc -I. -I/sw/src/fink.build/bitchx-ssl-1.0c19-1032/BitchX/include -I../../include -I. -I./include -DBIND_8_COMPAT -I/sw/include -Wall -c ./scan.c ./scan.c: In function 'sort_scan': ./scan.c:31: warning: cast to pointer from integer of different size I have tried rebuilding and reinstalling, but it doesn't help. I have attached the crash log from one of the crashes. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Sean Lake
