I built it against the latest unstable gcc45 in my tree (4.5.0-1000) and it magically works in 32-bit mode while the 64-bit version (understandably) fails - magically/understandably as per Jack Howarth's post and my reply (it would seem to me that the gcc45 version should not matter at all).
